WOW Day
Our Blue Abyss topic involves all things weird and watery and our WOW Day was no exception.
We learned about the layers of the ocean and the oceans of the world. We also discovered strange-looking creatures that call the bottom of the sea bed their home. Did you know that at the bottom of the Mariana Trench the weight of the water pushing down is equivalent to 50 jumbo jets stacked on top of each other?!
In the afternoon we looked closely at shells and tried to recreate them using clay. We are very proud of the master pieces we have produced!
