Potions WOW Day
At the start of our new Topic we spent the day researching potion ingredients and understanding the power of potions. We began to read our class novel, George's Marvelous Medicine, and took inspiration from the BFG and Harry Potter. We collected natural resources such as leaves, sticks, grass and flowers to put into our potion and combined these with a selection of herbs and scents to create a unique blend. Working in pairs we decided what out potion would be called and what it would do and we labelled our jam jars with its ingredients. We had great fun mixing and imagining the effect should anyone try to test one!
