Tremors
Wow Day
For our Tremors wow day, we started off by talking about volcanoes and drawing what we though they looked like on our whiteboards. We watched some videos of volcanic eruptions and then used what we saw to make our own paper plate volcanoes!
In the afternoon, we had the chance to erupt our volcanoes using diet coke and Mentos mints. We filled the bottles with coke and took them outside. We opened the lids and dropped two Mentos mints into them and watched the liquid start to fizz. It was exciting to see them erupt over the top of the volcanoes.
