Gods and Mortals
Wow Day - Thursday 10th September
Today, we have started our learning about the Ancient Greeks.
We started this morning by doing a fact hunt in the hall to learn about Zeus, the king of the gods. Next, we learnt more about the other gods and goddesses and created some fact cards to help us remember their names and what they are each the god of. This afternoon, we created our own Greek pottery by colouring paper plates to represent our favourite gods and goddesses before going outside to try some Ancient Olympic games such as javelin and discus.
