Hola Mexico
Bronze Class thoroughly enjoyed our Hola Mexico Wow Day activities. We started the day learning about where the Ancient Maya lived and drew maps to show this in our books. Next, we made some very colourful and decorative ceremonial Mayan masks. In the afternoon, we played an Ancient Mayan game called "Pok-ta-Tok", which is a bit like football but without using hands or feet! Finally, we ended the day tasting some Mayan inspired snacks. We tried maize tortilla chips, fresh guacamole and salsa. We also made hot chocolate the Mayan way, which was nothing like the sweet treat we know today!
