Welcome to Year 4 Monger Class
Billy Monger is a racing driver. A crash on the circuit when Billy was 17 resulted in him losing both of his legs from the knee down. He returned to motor racing in the same year just 7 months after his accident and continues to compete in specially modified racing cars.
In addition to racing cars Billy is a commentator and media celebrity who raises awareness of the challenges faced by people with disabilities. In 2023 Billy and his sisters were competitors on BBC's race across the world. Monger Class have traced Billy's route from Marrakesh in Morocco to Tromso in Norway.
